10 February 2026 Architecture Guide

An earlier version of this guide stated that Wat Benchamabophit was completed in 1904. The marble temple was in fact completed in 1899, with subsequent additions continuing into the early twentieth century. The text has been amended.

3 February 2026 Etiquette Guide

A paragraph on formal dining incorrectly described the traditional placement of the spoon and fork at a Thai table setting. The spoon is held in the right hand and the fork in the left, not the reverse as previously written. This has been corrected.

21 January 2026 Performing Arts Guide

The guide previously attributed the revival of khon masked dance at the National Theatre to 1985. The correct year of the revived programme is 1981. The entry has been updated accordingly.

Our Corrections Policy

We believe that acknowledging and correcting errors openly is fundamental to editorial credibility. When we become aware of a factual inaccuracy in any published guide or article, we take the following steps:

The original text is amended as soon as the correct information has been verified. A dated record of the correction is added to this page, noting what was changed and why. Where the error is significant, a brief correction notice may also be appended to the foot of the affected guide.

Minor changes such as spelling, punctuation and formatting adjustments are not recorded here, as they do not affect the substance of the content.

If you believe you have found a factual error in any of our published material, we would be grateful to hear from you. Please get in touch through our contact form, selecting "Correction or Feedback" as the subject. We review all submissions and aim to respond within five working days.
